Barons CreekSide

From the moment we arrived at our cabin, the weekend stay was wonderful!! We were greeted by the owner, letting us know to contact him if we needed anything, and that he lived there on site, along with the maintenance crew! When we picked up our key, we were also greeted by the most welcoming young man, also stating to let us know if we needed anything to be sure and let them know! The uniqueness of our cabin made our stay so enjoyable; so many one of a kind, special touches throughout our cabin made things so fun! There is so much history at this place!! It is literally just a couple of minutes from downtown, but the country feel on the private 26 acres just made it!!❤️ We had chairs right by the river, it was so peaceful and just beautiful scenery! The Club restaurant was on site, which made it so convenient! The food was outstanding and the live music was great! Such fabulous ambiance! Again, the owner was there at the restaurant, making things so personable and making everyone feel so welcome!! We have definitely found our new place to stay when we go back!!🥰

First stay at Baron’s and it was magical. Incredible location and loved the peace and quiet alongside the cabins which were amazing. Serenity in Hills. Our cabin, Interlaken had everything you need plus great view of the creek. The Club is great! Daniel and Deb are amazing hosts and make your experience one to remember. The entire property is amazing - already introduced this place to our friends and can't wait to return.

What a treasure. We had a super cute cabin, beautifully decorated that also had nice scents and Christmas decorations, situated near the picturesque creek. It was quiet and private yet so close to Main Street. The music was nice and the wine fantastic. With each bottle we open at home, we’ll have a reminder to book sooner next time so we can stay in this little piece of heaven for more nights.

I was so impressed by our cabin. We are locals who came for a quick staycation, and I’m so glad we did. I was blown away by the attention to detail within our cabin, I really felt like I was in the Swiss alps! The bedding was of very high quality, and we were provided everything we needed to tend our fireplace. The place was so clean you would think you were the first guests to ever stay!

If it were possible, I’d give Barons Creekside 6 out of 5 stars! The place is more than we could’ve hoped for. A truly romantic Swiss cabin for two. We were fully immersed in the experience and could choose to be completely separate and apart from Main Street or jump in the car and be there in minutes. The owner made every effort to make us feel welcome and at home. Every little detail in the cabin was purposeful and added to the character. We were so enamored with the experience that we extended our stay and can’t wait to return. We won’t stay anywhere else when visiting Fredericksburg! Can’t wait to go back :)
